Tyler Palmquist

Tyler Graduated from Gordon-Conwell where he received a  masters in mental health counseling. He has has worked with a wide variety of clients to help them heal, address mental health concerns, and take steps toward growth. Tyler believes in establishing a trusting and safe relationship with clients as the base of effective treatment and tailors his approach to meet the client’s needs. He has experience working with clients struggling with anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, and trauma among other disorders and life issues. As a Christian, Tyler is happy to discuss spiritual issues with clients but enjoys working with clients of all spiritual backgrounds.

 

Tyler primarily uses Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS) to help clients better understand themselves, bring healing, and thrive. Additionally, he uses Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) therapy with clients struggling with OCD and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address various life issues and help clients find practical solutions to their concerns. Tyler also enjoys working with couples and is Gottman level 1 certified.
